Agency Profile    In 1991 the Home Office lifted restrictions previously imposed on Hungarians being Au Pairs in the UK. An opportunity presented itself to start a business, and because of my Hungarian origins and connections, I founded the HUNGARIAN AU PAIR AGENCY that year. I am the proprietor and sole trader of the agency. I was one of the very first agencies to work legally with Hungarians and continue to do so today, though greatly expanded and with much more experience. As times change, Hungary has now joined the EU and this makes placements easier and simpler. I am professional and enthusiastic in my approach, providing a high level of quality and reliable service. I recognise that my work does not end with the placement, but continues with aftercare to ensure that families and Au Pairs both enjoy the experience.  I deal with the occasional problem tactfully and sympathetically, offering help and advice as necessary.  I feel that aftercare is a very important aspect of the business relationship between clients, Au Pairs and myself to ensure a happy and successful placement.  Many of my families have been returning to me year after year for their subsequest Au Pairs.  I have partner agencies in Hungary and more recently, in Romania and Poland, though many of my new placements are the result of recommendations byfamilies and previously placed Au Pairs. I am a second generation Hungarian. I live with my two teenage children, in Surbiton, southwest London.  I enjoy my work and spending my free time with my family and I love my 3 cats (As well as my children!). My other pastimes are cooking and baking, gardening, and reading.  I am also the director of  Hungarian Society which is active in organising social events for Hungarians in the UK several times a year.
