Au Pair Couples - Information for Families Recently, there has been more interest from families in requesting au pair couples to work together. Couples are sought by families with large properties and/or small businesses who need more than 25 hours work, where the female does the usual au pair duties of childcare and housework whereas the male will undertake other duties such as driving, gardening, heavier housework and small DIY jobs. Couples who apply are usually in a serious long term relationship and are keen to work together as au pairs.  Usually one of the couple will have stronger English than the other, but all are able to converse in English at a minimum of a basic level.  Because of their desire to be together, couples are flexible in the location where they are placed, and are quite happy to be in the countryside.  Furthermore, because there are two of them, the inevitable homesickness is not an issue.  Families would also benefit from 2 x 2 evenings babysitting as this task is included in their duties. As with all usual placements, au pair couples work 25 hours per week and would expect to receive £70 - £75 each per week, full board and lodging and two free days per week.  They must have their own  bedroom (which they can share together) and be allowed to attend English classes and/or religious services. Both have good English and are non-smokers. Ervin is an all round handyman and can do painting and gardening, cars, and football. Competant driver. Loves animals, enjoys the countryside and enjoys playing the piano. He speaks Hungarian, English and Romanian Agnes is good at housework and is a good cook.  She enjoys children, gardening, sewing, painting and animals. She speaks Hungarian, English, Romanian and basic Spanish. They both have experience with children within their own family environment. Both have a hgih school education. They are happy to work with children between the ages of 0-13 years. They are happy to be located anywhere in the UK. Available immediately for 1-3 years.  AVAILABLE JUNE 2007                 ANIKO & ZOLTAN ANIKO, 18 YEARS & ZOLTAN, 24 YEARS are a Hungarian couple, they both have basic/intermediate English.  Zoltan has a drivers licence,  is good at gardening, lives on a samll-holding with cows and pigs.  He enjoys biking, camping, football, etc. Has completed secondary school of building. Aniko likes sports, walking, animals.  She has imtermediate English and has experience with her sisters children. They are willing to take care of up to 3-4 children and help within the household and garden. They both are available from August for 1 year.  London prefered.
